Celtics Run the NBA in Jersey Sales
A few days ago, the NBA released it 2011-2012 Jersey Sales. It's no wonder that Danny Ainge didn't blow up the team. The big four are serious money makers! Rondo was number ten in sales. Ray and Paul finished with a respectable 12th and 13th overall.

Rondo Gets Booted in the Pearl 2011 Nike Zoom Hyperfuse
Rajon Rondo played great in yesterdays playoff game. It's too bad that he lost his cool and got ejected. At least he looked good walking to the locker room. Rondo wore a pair of Pearl 2011 Nike Zoom Hyperfuse with green laces. This is a player exclusive pair with the number 9 on the tongue. Hopefully we see some new shoes in Game 2.

My Latest Pick Up: The Rajon Rondo Nike Hyperenforcer PE
Yesterday, I stopped into Boston's House of Hoops and grabbed this pair of Rajon Rondo Nike Hyperenforcer PE's. This shoe is so much better in person than it shoes on TV. The shoes are extremely nice quality and they have 3M accents on the Swoosh and collar. The shoe is holding hte earth down with a crystal clear icy bottom. I slept on these, but I had to grab them. They were just too nice.

Rhode Islands First Sneaker Consignment Shope: SoleAir23
I was looking for sneakers on Craigslist this weekend, when I came across an add for a new sneaker consignment store called SoleAir23 in Rhode Island. Today I had the opportunity to visit the shop, and I was not diassapointed. The shop is located on 1848 Smith Street in North Providence, RI. This is great for me, as it is within a short jog from my house. I met with the owner John and he was incredibly nice. He is a life long sneaker head and he has pictures of his Jordan themed wedding up in the store. Although the store is just starting, it is already adorned with some serious heat, which consists mostly of Jordans and Nike products. The stores also consigns Jerseys. John consigns DS sneakers for a 85/15 split. UnDS sneaker are 70/30 and Apparel in 70/30. The store is in an unassuming location and is not full of overly hyped street wear brands. I have to say it was a refreshing change of pace from most of my sneaker consignment store experiences. It was nice to see a persons passion come to life. I'm asking for all Celtkicks followers to visit the store and support someones dream. Please visit their site and follow the store on twitter @soleair23.

Celtkick's Booth at the Rhode Island SneakerXchange
Today I participated in the Rhode Island SneakerXchange. The event was held at McFaddens restaraunt in Providence, Rhode Island. The show had nice attendance and good quality kicks. Local stores Expressions, Civil, and Sneaker Junkies had booths. I had the opportunity to meet many of the loyal readers of this site. One reader showed me his Ray Allen PE collection and I almost killed him (kidding of course)! I had a pair of Karl Malone Dada PE's that people where flipping over (that's right Dada). Overall the event was a blast. DJ CR the Beast spun Hip Hop records while sneakerheads made deals. I sold a ton of sneakers and picked up a few pairs I've been dying to get. To quote Ice Cube, "Today was a good day" for RI's sneakerheads.

Deadstock Sneaker Convention Review
Yesterday sneakerheads from all over New England flooded Boston's the 4th Wall Project on Brookline Street for the Deadstock Sneaker Convention. The event was a joint venture of the Sneakin It In sneaker crew and Boston retailer Laced. The event featured vendors selling rare kicks, original art, and street wear. Hip Hop artists and DJ's provided live entertainment throughout the day. The event saw good attendance and high quality kicks. Vendors predominantly had Jordan Brand and Nikes to sell. The event was highlighted by several pairs of Ray Allen 13's, OG Jordan Cement IV's, and Jordan BIN 13's. I brought out my Rajon Rondo autographed Reebok PE's, but their wasn't much of a market for non Nike shoes. The crowd was on the young side and mostly looking to sell releases from the past 2 years (Durants, Lebrons, recent JB retros). Overall the event was a ton of fun. They provided free Vitamin Water and chips. The negotiations were a blast. There is nothing more entertaining than watching sneakerheads work out deals. Shout outs to the Sneakin It In crew and Laced for throwing this fun event. Follow them on Twitter at @lacedboston569 and @sneakinitin

Hip Hop Artist Termanology at the Celtics Game
I went to the Garden last night for the Spurs game. As I entered the building, I came across the hip hop artist Termanology. Termanology is a Lawrence native that has made serious moves on the nation scene. Term has paid some serious dues over the past 10 years. I remember going to shows at VFW's and Country Clubs in the early 2000's. Since that time Term has had tracks produced by the legendary DJ Premier, J Dilla, and Pete Rock, just to name a few. He has also done tracks with MOP, Mobb Deep, Royce da 5'9", Sheek Louch, and Bun B. If you don't know......now you know. Go download his mixtapes and buy his albums.
