Rajon Rondo Rocks Black 2010 Nike Hyperfuse Lows

Last night versus the Pistons, Rajon Rondo wore a player exclusive pair of 2010 Nike Zoom Hyperfuse lows in a black/green colorway. In adddition to Rondo, Keyon Dooling wore the same pair. Rondo has been wearing more 2010 Hyperfuses than the current 2011 model.

A New Colorway of the Hyperfuse for Rondo

Rajon Rondo hit the courts of the Nola last night in a new colorway of the 2011 Nike Zoom Hyperfuse Rondo PE. This pair is similar to Jermaine O'neal's Hyperballer colorway. This colorway is player exclusive and not available to the general public.

Fresh From the Court: Keyon Dooling in Rajon Rondo's 2010 Nike Zoom Hyperfuse

Keyon Dooling made has had a major impact on the Celtics bench this year. When Rondo's off the court, it is Keyon that has to fill his shoes. The funny thing is since joining the team, Keyon has done just that.....wear Rondo's shoes. Keyon has been wearing the white colorway of the 2010 Nike Zoom Hyperfuse Rondo Home PE. It seems to be working for him so far, let's hope it translates into some rest for Rondo and most importantly some Celtics wins.

Kevin Garnett's ANTA KG2 Xmas Kicks

Yesterday, KG took to the court in a pair of Red/White ANTA KG2's. This is one of the freshest pairs of shoes to hit the courts this Christmas. Unfortunate for fans though, these are a China only exclusive. We can look though!!!

Rajon Rondo's Xmas White 2011 Nike Zoom Hyperfuse PE

Yesterday afternoon, the double R was in the Christmas spirit with his white 2011 Nike Zoom Hyperfuses. The only color on the shoe came on the red swoosh and the red #9 on the tongue. This was the first time this colorway has ever been seen on Rajon and will likely be the last time that he wears them. I was relatively bored by this colorway, what do you guys think???

Marquis Daniels Under Armour Micro G Bloodline Rowley Park Xmas Kicks

Q6 hit the MSG floor in a pair of Bradon Jenning's sponsored Under Armour Micro G Bloodline. This colorway is called the "Rowley Park" and they pay tribute to his childhood basketball court. Quis got them in the christmas spirit by adding red laces. Rondo Returns to the Garden in a Familiar Shoe

Last night the Celtics returned to the garden with another win over the Raptors. We were expecting to see new "Home" Nikes from Rondo, but he returned to an old staple; the 2010 Nike Zoom Hyperfuse low. Rondo was the MVP of the game, but we can't help anticipate what he wears on Christmas Day versus the Knicks.

Game Worn Anta KG1's Hit Ebay

An ultra rare player exclusive just hit ebay. Ebay seller "City of Winners" started an auction for The ANTA KG1's a few days ago. The current selling price is $488.05. This is the first pair of game worn KG1 Anta's to hit EBAY. Since ANTA currently distributes in China, I wouldn't expect many of these to hit the American market. If you want to buy them CLICK HERE.

New Kicks: Ray Allen's Jordan 2011 A Flight PE's

Ray started the preseason off with a bang. He banged down three's and continued his reign as the sneaker king of the Celtics. Yesterday, Sugar Ray hit the court in a player exclusive pair of the Jordan Brand 2001 A Flight in an Away colorway. The shoe features a flywire upper with green patent hits. The shoe definitely makes a statement. You can't see it in the picture, but the shoes have an elephant print on the out sole. The GR version of these shoes are currently on sale for $99 on Eastbay.com

Last night the Celtics gave their fans something to get excited about when they held their annual "Open Practice". The Truth and KG sat the green and white game out, but where in the building wearing their home colorways of their latest signature shoes. Paul wore his Nike Air Legacy 3's and KG wore his home Anta KG2's. Rajon wore his PE white/green/camo Nike Zoom Hyperfuse 2011 and Ray wore Jordan Brand Jordan A Flight for the first time this year. The open practice was a swimming success and the C's did not disappoint their fans.

Paul brought his new signature sneaker out to media. The shoe features a high height tongue similar to the one seen on the Nike Zoom Hyperfuse. As usual is adorns the P2 logo. Little details are known about the shoes, but they appear to have hyperfuse technology. Our calls to NIKE are yet to be returned. The Celtic's veteran guard is no stranger to the to the sneaker game. Keyon has worn many different flavors of Adidas since entering the league in 2000. Keyon typically wears the team colorway of the latest Adidas. During last year's playoffs Mr. Dooling was wearing the Adidas Adipure in a white/forest colorway. Chinese Brand ANTA continues to promote their "Basketball is my Life" Campaign. As spokes person for the company, KG did his part telling "his basketball story". Garnett describes being on the streets of Chicago "hearing the howls of wolves", while giant men "eating flowers waiting to strike at me". New ANTA "Basketball is My Life" Campaign

Chinese Brand ANTA recently launched the brand new “Basketball is My Life” marketing campaign according to a recent press release. Along with this campaign, ANTA Sports has launched a new series of basketball shoes featuring "the Four Mythical Creatures". The new basketball shoes – White Tiger, Vermilion Bird, Black Tortoise and Azure Dragon – cater for basketball lovers who emphasise strength, speed, control and all-round ability respectively. The "Basketball is My Life" campaign will focus on first hand stories from their sponsored players. Kevin Garnett is currently the biggest star on the ANTA Basketball roster. These new designs are intriguing and I hope KG brings these to the courts of the Garden.

The Celtic's officially began the quest for 18 last night when training camp opened in Waltham. KG hit the court in his latest signature model the Anta KG2 "Away" for the first time this season.

Sneaker Rewind: Good Bye Big Baby

I have mixed emotions about Big Baby being traded to the Magic. Sure at times he was...... for lack of a better word a............ "big baby", but he was for the most part an entertaining player on the court. True Celtic's fans would be hard pressed to find a single player that sacrificed their body as much as Glen has over the past 3 seasons. We here at Celtkicks wish @iambigbaby11 all the luck in the word. Enough of mushy stuff.....on with the sneaker rewind. During his time in Boston, Baby mostly wore simple colorways (black/white), but on Christmas day in 2008, Baby brought out this flashy pair of Nike Hyperdunks. This pair would eventually hit EBAY and sell for big sums.

Sneaker Rewind: Avery Bradley's Reebok Answer 12's

With the Celtic's season about to begin, there may be no player with more pressure to perform than Avery Bradley. The second year combo guard has the opportunity to earn some minutes on Doc's squad and also give Rajon Rondo the rest he will need for a play off run. Today we take a trip in the wayback machine to the 2009 McDonald's All American game to take a look at Avery Bradley's Reebok Iverson Answer 12 PE's. This solid looking shoe is forgotten in the overall sneaker world, but was a solid silhouette. In 2009 Bradley was actually a higher prospect than John Wall, hopefully he gets the opportunity to prove himself. If you are looking for the Answer 12 you can pick them up on ebay from $50 to $125 size dependant.
